FAQ
A refurbished Soundboks delivers the same audio ear candy as a brand new one. The only differences are a couple battle scars and some extra durability testing. Oh–and the price too. All these speakers come in their OG packaging. Just like the speakers though, it may be a little scuffed up.
All refurbished Soundboks have been fully tested and work as you’d expect our speakers to. Plus, they come with the same warranty as a new speaker. Choose between four condition grades:
-
Like New
With next to no visible cosmetic imperfections, you can’t even tell these units have been partying. We wish we knew their secrets.
-
Very Good
Sporting minor cosmetic imperfections, such as small surface scratches, these Soundboks have had a few late night sessions before. They know the drill when it comes to dancefloor chaos.
-
Good
If these Soundboks could talk, they’d tell you all about the legendary moments and mad memories they made. But since they can’t, their noticeable scratches or marks can help you imagine.
-
Acceptable
These experienced party starters have bigger scratches or tarnished metal. Then again, if you’d raved as much as them, you would too.

Bluetooth problems
"Sound quality and speaker is cool looking Bluetooth range isn’t great as well as i wish It shut itself off after not being connected to something for a while"
Bought an "Acceptable level" refurbished
"Bought an "Acceptable level" refurbished speaker. It had a few scratches on the bottom and sides, that's it. I honestly thought it would've been a lot worse. Sounds great, as expected. I do have some static and distance issues with my phone connecting to it. However, I'm sure that's just my phone. Battery life is good. The Soundboks app, doesn't really work. I've heard that from a few people as well. Overall, would definitely buy, if you have the money"
Great speaker!
"I own 3 now because they are such great speakers. This refurbished one looked brand new. Either I got lucky and got the best one they had or what they consider refurbished I consider like new. Pairing all 3 is my only complaint. It takes a while to get them all to "team up" and never works on the first try. Usually have to try several times and sometimes I give up because it's too annoying. Other than that the speakers are amazing."
I already want another
"This small speaker package packs a punch. The first time I heard my friend's Soundboks 1, I was blown away. It produces such clean acoustics with impressive power. For that kind of power and a 16-hr battery (for Gen1) in-box, I expected it to weigh about twice what it did when I picked it up to help pack up for the night. Needless to say, I started feeling compelled to get my own. A week later, I did."
Pretty good for the refurbished price
"There are some scratches as explained in the refurbishing process. The battery charges like new and I can't notice much of a capacity difference despite being a used battery. We cranked the speaker to max volume and there was no problem with the sound from any of the individual speakers. All for almost half price"
AMAZING SPEAKER. . THE BEST!!!!
"AMAZING SPEAKER. . THE BEST!!!!"
Great not as loud like the older ones
"Great just not as powerful as the older version"
"It’s ok. It has trouble connecting to another soundbox. My box always has to join another box. Mine never does host and have someone else connect to mine. And when i connect to a antenna to sync with another user my box has to be on host instead of just being on. So i think my refurbished SB has its buttons confused."
