Can I play my Soundboks while charging with The Battery?
You bet you can. This requires the official Soundboks charger or a 65W USB-C PD compliant power supply.

Can I charge my phone or other USB-C compatible devices while playing music?
Yes, of course you can.

Is the old charger compatible with The Battery?
No, the old charger is not compatible with The Battery.

Does The battery work with all existing Soundboks speakers?
Yes, all of 'em.

How long does it take to fully charge The Battery?
It takes 2 hours to fully charge The Battery using The Charger (our official charger).

Can I use any charger that fits to charge The Battery?
For sure, but it might take a bit longer. Depending on the wattage, it can take up to 18 hours to fully charge The Battery. Ours only takes 2 hours.

Why doesn't The battery come with a charger?
In short, this will help reduce electronic waste and encourage people to use their existing USB-C chargers. That's definitely a good thing, if you ask us.

How much of The Battery is used to fully charge a phone?
About 20% of its capacity.

How long does The Battery last?
This hasn't changed from previous designs. It'll last 40 hours at mid-volume with any Soundboks. When you turn up to 11, it gives you 6 hours for the Soundboks 4 and 8 hours for the Soundboks Mix.

Why doesn't my Soundboks come with a charger?
Due to the EU Radio Equipment Directive, the Soundboks 4 no longer include a charger. This policy aims to reduce electronic waste by encouraging the use of existing USB-C chargers. If you need a charger, you can purchase The Charger separately.

Soundboks Gen-4

"Purchased a Soundboks Gen-4 with a spare battery and charger a few weeks ago. Have been putting it through the test ever since in my new studio. As I have found with most new speaker systems, it did need a short period of break-in... After a few days of starting at lower levels and then cranking it up all the way I have found it is rock hard ready. It lives between 7-11. I can honestly state the sounds is excellent; loud and crystal clear. I'm in my mid 60s and have been rocking out for 55 years with many, many speaker and stereo systems. The sound from the Gen-4 is crystal clear, I can hear things in songs/tunes I've been listening to for many years that I never heard before, or even knew were in the tune... I plan to get another one and link them up in the near future. Rock-on! Gary"

"Die box ist Sensationell super!!! Leider werden die Angegebenen Versandzeiten auf der Homepage und in der Auftragsbestätigung (diese sind unterschiedlich) bei weitem nicht eingehalten. Statt 2 bis 4 Werktage, dauerte der Versand 8 Werktage und daran war nicht DHL schuld."

"Laut Hersteller sollen es 8-40 Stunden Betriebszeit sein. Ich habe die Box jetzt 1-2 Monate & Meiner persönlichen Erfahrung nach, auf voller Power reicht die Batterielaufzeit maximal 7 Stunden, was für mich kein Problem ist , da ich bei einem Angebot die zweite Batterie gratis dazu hatte. Bei niedriger bis mittlerer Lautstärke bin ich mit 40 Stunden locker über die Runden gekommen und ich muss sagen ich bin sehr beeindruckt von der Batterie und der Box !!! Danke dem SOUNDBOKS Team , beste Box und Batterie bis dato 2026"
